Devoted to Christ, Called to Serve.

Camp Hill Presbyterian Church is a vibrant community church in the heart of Camp Hill called to worship God, grow in Christ, share Spirit-filled life, and serve in the Susquehanna Valley and beyond.

MISSION & HISTORY.

On September 21, 1916, 47 people gathered in the upper room of the Camp Hill Borough Hall to organize a new Presbyterian church.

In 1925, they marched up the street to our current sanctuary.

At the congregation's centennial celebration in 1916, the congregation made the march once again to celebrate an ongoing legacy of service in the Camp Hill Borough and beyond through impactful worship and spiritual formation, vibrant music and arts programs, a locally-renowned church preschool, and longstanding partnerships with mission organizations.

At CHPC, you'll find a welcoming community building fresh on this storied legacy and, we hope, a loving, triune God calling us together in care and sending us out to serve.

Worship

Fresh expressions of worship form and uplift the congregation, ever-centered around the proclamation of the Word in Scripture and the administration of Sacraments.

The weekly 8:30am ARISE service and 10:30am Sunday Worship follow the Christian liturgical calendar, interweaving prayer, music, reflection, ritual, offering, and our community life.

Grow

CHPC members regularly gather for Bible and book studies, host educational events around contemporary and cultural issues,  and participate in an active music program.

CHPC boasts a vibrant children and youth program with impactful programs and special events for the whole family.

Share

As a congregation in the Presbyterian tradition, members of the church plan and facilitate the programs that live out our mission. Everyone is invited to join one of several Intergenerational Team to use their gifts.

There are regular opportunities for congregational and small group fellowship, and members are active in ministries of care and compassion.

Serve

Ministries of justice and reconciliation draw congregants into serving the least of these. Members are active in several longstanding mission partnerships around hunger and poverty relief, service to the unhoused, and refugee resettlement.
