Kirk Programs
at Camp Hill Presbyterian Church
Christian Formation
Christian formation is a lifelong process, where with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we experience spiritual growth, and slowly become more "formed" into the image and character of Jesus. This process is biblically guided, community-of-faith based, and requires practice in daily life such as prayer, reading the bible, and living as Christ would have us live.
Christian Formation at Camp Hill Presbyterian Church
Ongoing Christian formation in community is the wellspring for a life of faith and a central part of congregational life at Camp Hill Presbyterian Church. During the program year, weekly intergenerational programs take place at 9:00 am before Sunday worship and also within small groups throughout the week. These formational programs are collectively known as "Kirk Programs."
About Kirk Programs at CHPC
Drawing from roots in the Scottish Reformation, our formation programs are named after the Scottish word for church, "Kirk." Kirk programs form the church to pray on our own and worship together, share life within our congregation and serve in our community, work mercy with our neighbor and justice in our world.

There are open groups for children, youth, young adults, and slightly-less young adults to dive into Scripture, work through pressing current issues, practice spirituality, and lift up songs of praise. All programs are open to visitors. Explore the age group pages to find your Sunday or midweek Kirk program, contact the church office, or reach out to Pastor Nancy Conklin with any questions.
